This is the English section of Refuerzo Educativo, a free worksheet library written and used by two practicing elementary teachers. Everything here is a PDF you can print today: US Letter, black and white, answer key included. There is no sign-up, no email wall and no watermark, and there never will be — the site pays for itself through a small shop of complete workbooks, not by charging for the free material.
We started in Spanish, where the library now runs to more than 1,250 worksheets. These English sheets are new, written from scratch rather than translated, because a worksheet that reads like a translation is a worksheet no one uses. If you teach in a dual-language or Spanish-immersion program, the Spanish catalogue is open to you too and it is the same material, at the same price: nothing.

Five collections are live. Each one has the worksheets, a short section on how we actually use them in class, and answers on the last page so you can hand a sheet to a student without preparing anything first.
- Multiplication facts and times tables — five sheets, from the 2s and 10s up to mixed facts to 12 × 12, plus word problems. Grades 3-4.
- Fractions — naming and comparing, equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting, and the fraction-decimal-percent bridge. Grades 3-6.
- Geometry — 2D shapes, perimeter, angles and triangles, area. Grades 2-5.
- Number tracing — ruled practice rows for 1-10, 11-20 and the digits that get reversed most. Pre-K and Kindergarten.
- Pre-writing strokes — lines, zigzags, waves, hills and loops, the five strokes that come before any letter. Pre-K.
What makes these different
Three things, and they are the reasons we built the site in the first place.
Every sheet has an answer key. Not a separate paid download, not a members-only file — the last page of the PDF. A worksheet you have to solve yourself before you can grade it costs you more time than it saves.
They print properly. One sheet, one page, black and white, no full-bleed color blocks that empty a cartridge. The fonts are large enough for the grade they are aimed at, and the answer space is sized for the handwriting of a real child, not for an adult.
They were made for a classroom, not for a search engine. Both of us teach. Every sheet here has been used with students before it was published, which is why the word problems are about markers, buses and bake sales rather than abstractions.
Frequently asked questions
Are these worksheets really free?
Yes, and without an email address. Download, print, photocopy for your class. The only thing we ask is that you do not re-upload the PDFs to another site or sell them.
Can I use them in my classroom and share them with my grade-level team?
Yes. Printing them for your students and passing the link to a colleague are both fine. What is not fine is rehosting the files or including them in a paid product.
Do they follow Common Core?
They are not written against any single standard, but the content is the ordinary elementary sequence — facts, fractions, perimeter, area — so it lines up with what most US districts teach in those grades. The grade labels are a guide, not a rule: use the sheet that fits the student.
Why is the rest of the site in Spanish?
Because that is where it started, and it is still the bigger half. If you teach in a dual-language program, that catalogue is probably more useful to you than this one.
